I was sort of surprised to wake up this morning and find SEVEN emails asking how I did in my first tournament last night.. Very fun, and very nice of you...
Well.... I WON!!!! Then I lost.... It was a double elimination tournament, with random match-ups on random machines. My first match was against a nice guy a bit older than myself, who I had seen practicing on Tron and doing VERY well. We were assigned to Lethal Weapon 3, the ONLY game of the 5 on site I had not practiced before the tourney started. However, I have always played pretty well on this table, so I was okay with this draw. I "won" the coin toss to go first.... My first ball ended at 28,000,000 or so, after stating two modes and getting TRI-BALL going. I was thrilled. I had kept great control of the ball and made the shots I wanted to. The game moved so much slower than TRON which was the last game I had put some practice in on. My opponent seemed to be nervous and lost his first ball below 1 million points. I had mediocre 2nd and 3rd balls, but handily won the match by a final total of 39 Million to 20 million. The rest... will be saved for Episode 29!!! -Nate
